It was great that the Creature from the Black Lagoon was not shown in his entirety for the first part of the movie...but when we finally did get a look at him, something seemed eerily familiar...see photo below

Betcinda, you've captured what I found to be the most strinking shot of Dr. Calagari; the lines in the hair and gloves are extremely striking.

Darn it! Janice beat me to it! The mouths are what I noticed first. Perhaps there is some subliminal message here that reaches right in and plucks at our reptilian brain...ha! get it reptilian...creature from the black lagoon....ahhhh forget it. :)
